Cheese is a passion at Clarks and we specialise in artisan farmhouse cheeses from Britain and the continent with dedicated staff maturing and caring for them in our special facilities. Our cheese experts will be happy to advise on selections for your cheese board or to recommend seasonal cheeses or those in peak condition. We are also very happy to do cheese tastings and staff training and can of course provide a variety of cheese biscuits and accompaniments such as Membrillo.As a Scottish company we put great emphasis on Scottish cheese and work closely with many cheese producers. We stock over 35 farmhouse cheeses including a number that are exclusive to us.
Our range of French cheeses is second to none. Our chosen Brie de Meaux is a multiple gold medal winner and our range includes hand made Roquefort, renowned Comte, classic goats cheeses from the Loire vallee, raw milk Camemberts, Corsican washed rind and many other Appellation d’Origine Controlee cheeses. Our French supplier is in constant contact with producers and operates under strict guide lines to provide full traceability of all cheeses.
Our vast array of Italian cheese ranges from aged Parmiggiano Reggiono, cave matured Taleggios to Truffle Pecorino and our Buffallo milk Mozzarella is a fresh DOP airfreight product that is unbeatable on quality.
And to make the range complete we have pure ewes milk Manchegos from Spain, barrel aged Greek feta and Swiss and Dutch cheeses.
